A full house with 28 tables in the Open and 2 in the Supervised session in our Christmas Party on Wednesday 4th December 2024. There were a lot of happy faces and fun scenes!
Our director Marcia Scudder managed the room as fantastic as usual, with Fiona Lavery taking care the newer players. Mick McAuliffe brought us a lot of fun games today – the brain twisting quiz and the wild guess game (on the total number of masterpoints all our members have). The SBC Chairman Mary Anne Loveridge announced and presented the 2024 SBC Club Championships award with cash prizes (sponsored by our player Michael Reardon-small) and medals. We also raised about $300 from the raffle draw to support The Smith Family.
On top of bridge, there was a non-stop streamline of beautiful and Christmas themed goodies and lunch, plus a variety of drinks!
We hope you all enjoyed the party. We are open most of the days in December, please check our holiday opening hours from our website, come join us for a game and grab some RED masterpoints from next week on!
