A decent turnout in the SBC Spring Swiss Teams congress! There were top-tier congress players, youth players and first-timers in the congress, we are proud to run congresses that appeal to all types of players!
Thanks to John McIlrath and his assistant Kelly Barber who directed a smooth congress for us. Thanks also our volunteers and catering staff to provide all the goodies that fuel our brain ![]()

Our next congress will be in an interesting format – The Festive Individual on Sunday 28th December. John Scudder told me Individual had been very popular in the old days – because you can partner with different players the whole day, including some very good players! The event will provide a system card, so you don’t need to worry about serious misunderstanding (the minor ones are okay, they can be hilarious). It’s a great opportunity to get to know other players. The event is already open for entry, please register via MyABF: https://myabf.com.au/events/congress/view/3517
Congratulations to all the winners!
