Learn to Play Bridge…. and Learn to Play Better Bridge!
We usually run 3-4 Beginners Courses in a year. The term 3 Beginners Course will start in July. Our teachers Wing Roberts and Craig Taberner are very patient and experienced teachers for beginners and supervised players.

Beginners Course
This Face-to-Face Beginners Course will cover all the basic concepts of the bridge game. You will play in each lesson as you learn. Plus, once completed, you will progress to Improvers Courses while playing in our Supervised sessions.
The next Beginners Course will be held in City and Ashfield. There are options of daytime and evening courses:
- 6 Monday Mornings | City 20th July – 24th August, 10.00am – 12.30pm
- 6 Tuesday Nights | City 21st July – 25th August, 7.00pm – 9.30pm
- 6 Thursday Mornings | Ashfield 23rd July – 27th August, 10.30am – 12.45pm
$159 for the full course, notes included. (FREE Beginners Course for those who have participated in our previous Beginners Course and would like to repeat).
If you would like to get a glimpse of the game, to experience how and where a duplicate bridge is played in a bridge club, we would like to invite you to a FREE Introduction Seminar:
- Tuesday | City 7th July, 6.00pm – 7.00pm
- Thursday | Ashfield 9th July, 11.00am – 12.00pm
- Monday | City 13th July, 9.00am – 10.00am
The City venue is our Clubroom on Level 1, 162 Goulburn Street, Surry Hills, Sydney. Parking is available for $17 ($15 for evening and weekend) at the Secure Parking Station at the corner of Elizabeth Street and Goulburn Street. See us for the validation ticket.
We hire the function room in Polish Club for our Ashfield sessions. For pedestrian access, the address is 182 Liverpool Road, Ashfield. Free underground parking in Polish Club, please use the parking access via 73-75 Norton Street, Ashfield.
Improvers Course
The Improvers I (6 weeks) will help you to consolidate what you have learnt from the Beginners Course, and the Improvers II (6 weeks) will equip you with some common simple conventions that you will need to play in any club sessions.
- Improvers I: 6 Wednesday Afternoons | City from 22nd July – 26th August, 1.30pm – 4.00pm
- Improvers I: 6 Monday Mornings | City from 12th October – 16th November, 10.00am – 12.30pm
- Improvers I: 6 Tuesday Nights | City from 13th October – 17th November, 7.00pm – 9.30pm
- Improvers I: 6 Thursday Mornings | Ashfield from 15th October – 19th November, 10.00am – 12.30pm
- Improvers II: 6 Wednesday Afternoons | City from 14th October – 18th November, 1.30pm – 4.00pm
