Christmas came early in Sydney Bridge Club! There were 26 tables competing in the Pairs and 28 tables in the Teams in the Xmas in Winter congress.
The congress was run smoothly under John McIlrath’s directorship, the hard work by our catering team and the support of our volunteers.

PAIRS
Mitch Dowling and Alan Stoneham won the SBC Xmas in Winter Pairs.
Nicolet Giura and Nick Hughes came Overall 2nd in the Xmas in Winter Pairs.
Gayle Calvert and Steve English have fewer than 300 masterpoints, and came Overall 3rd in the Xmas in Winter Pairs! Well done.
The youth pair David Zheng and Noah Klugman won the Restricted Pairs (Overall 4th). Both of them have fewer than 100 masterpoints!
Judy King and Denise Reid came 2nd in the Restricted Pairs. Both of them also have fewer than 100 masterpoints!
Anna Siganto and Jeri Levinsky won the Best Novice Pairs.
TEAMS
Alan Stoneham, Mitch Dowling, Matt Smith and James Palmer won the Xmas in Winter Teams.
Jeff Newton presented the prizes to 2nd place Edmond Lee, Adrian Le, Pauline Gumby and Warren Lazer.
3rd place Richard McAuliffe, Mick McAuliffe, Leigh Matheson and Terry Palmer.
The youth team Noah Klugman, David Zheng, Hamish and Natalie Newman won the Restricted Team (overall 8th).
2nd in Restricted Teams – Anna Siganto, David Paul, John Fitzpatrick and Andy Sunter.
The Best Novice Team went to Aaron Poon, Ida Anderson, Duncan Lai and Shannon Ooi.
