We ran a new congress in February this year – the Harmony Park Swiss Pairs on Valentine’s Day. Bridge players are definitely in love with the game! There were 19 tables on the day, including premier players, first timers, SBC fans and friends.

Overall winner Mathew Vadas and George Fleischer took the title with 5 wins. A solid first and the pair was only defeated by 2nd place getter Andre Korenhof and Carola Hoogervorst by 2 IMPs.
Overall 2nd – the very cute couple Andre Korenhof and Carola Hoogervorst. They started low in the first round, and shot up quickly to the top challenging the 1st place.
Overall 3rd – Mick McAuliffe and Wing Roberts. Dark horse who made a come back in the afternoon.
Restricted 1st – Nurhan Parker and Timothy Bestelink.
Restricted 2nd – Jeff Eisman and Hannah Fuzi.
The Best Novice Pair went to Sandra Close and Vesna Grujic.
