There were 22 teams competing in the SBC Spring Teams congress. As usual, the SBC congress has attracted a wide range of players – from professional to amateur. Very SBC, and that’s what we are proud of that players of all levels will always find their place in our club. The SBC Spring Teams on 19th September recorded 22 teams.
Thank you also to all the volunteer who brought in homemade cakes and bites for morning tea. Chicken was served for lunch and it was complimented well with homemade salads which Orsolina Aroney and Anne-Marie Kelly prepared fresh this morning!

Overall 1st – Robyn Noach, Ludo Onstein, Wing Roberts and Mick McAuliffe. The team stayed on 1st the whole day with 5 wins and 1 loss. Robyn and Ludo probably contributed to the success by topping the pair datum.
Overall 2nd – Jake Andrew, Rakesh Kumar, George Fleischer and Donald Cartwright.
Overall 3rd – Peter Gill and the chair Mary Anne Loveridge. Teammates Martin Bloom, Jessica Brake and Tony Nunn absent.
1st Restricted & Novice Teams – Ron and Jeff Chen, Lionel Rabie and Annabel Connors. Ron and Jeff ranked 3rd in the Pair Datum!
2nd Restricted & Novice Teams – David Paul, Anne Marie Kelly, John Bellingham and John Fitzpatrick.
The Best Novice Team – Bev Keating and Lynne Walsh with the chair Mary Anne Loveridge. Sharne Aldridge and Julie Whittaker absent.
