What a fantastic turnout for the SBC State Mixed Pairs Club Qualifier! Held on the mornings of March 10th, 17th, and 24th, our players showed a great appetite for competition, boosting table numbers to a high of 15/16 for each session. Jane Biscoe and Jake Andrew won the top spot to represent SBC in the State Final on 16th–17th May. Because Jake cannot play, our second-placed pair stepped in, the final two pairs going to the State Finals were Haijin Zou – Liping Yu and Wing Roberts – Mick McAuliffe.
